Landing Pages are a brilliant medium to sell a product or service directly. These days, getting a landing page built is no longer an obstacle. However, the question is how to orchestrate, structure and present content to get the point across and effectively persuade the visitor to act.

This workshop will go in detail exploring exactly which landing page components we need, how to design them, how to lay them out, how to make them shine and speak to our customers, and how to declutter the unnecessary to let the necessary speak.

We’ll also look into common issues, obstacles and challenges all around landing pages, and spend enough time looking into your questions on how to improve the landing pages that you might already have.


Topics We’ll Cover Using Visual Examples:

  1. Stepping into your visitor’s shoes and imagining what they need to see and learn to be motivated to act,
  2. Pairing these needs with components, looking into how to design and order components and how to lay out the entire page,
  3. Common mistakes to avoid, with some of the challenging bits when customers don’t understand an offer, or find it complicated, or cluttered — let’s clean it up!
  4. What makes a good landing page design with practical techniques to polish your landing pages and provide a great first impression so visitors can develop trust toward you or your brand,
  5. Boosting the performance of your landing pages with testimonials and social proof and the right way to provide it to avoid abandonment,
  6. Declutter the unnecessary to spotlight the necessary while avoiding open questions, doubts, and uncertainties and paving a clear path towards action.

Right now he is working on Landing Page courses while interviewing makers on the Yo! podcast. When not building online, he loves to surf, travel, and listen to 90s punk rock.
