Jamie Dunmore

by Jamie Dunmore

One Page portfolio for UK based designer, Jamie Dunmore. I can’t help think the faded opacity dark layers should extend to 100% height on some of the sections. I love his parallax scrolling portfolio section and how the background is custom for each project. Thanks for the good build notes below…

This website was built using Adobe Muse. While Muse has its limitations, it has enabled me to build my own website that I have complete control over. The site also has tablet and mobile-specific versions. I had to design the desktop site so that each section would work on small, medium and large screens because Muse doesn't yet have the capability to engineer genuinely responsive sites. I did this primarily with the use of full screen background images and scroll effects. The overall vision of the site is to have a very simple, slick, modern visual, to present information in bite-size form and to act as a canvas for my portfolio. I feel I have achieved that. The site will constantly remain in a state of development and experimentation, while the portfolio section will continue to grow. The logo animation in the 'home' section was developed in Adobe Edge Animate.
