Armor

by Armor

Long scrolling One Pager for Philadelphia-based digital agency Armor. Nice touch with the device outline animation on page load and I’m a big fan of these conversational contact forms. The gradient change as you scroll was difficult to capture with this long screenshot, so make sure you browse the real thing.

We wanted to create an experience that used modern technologies while still supporting a wide range of browsers and devices. The bulk of the site is built with HTML5 and CSS3 โ€” utilizing newer layout options like Flexbox, as well as experimenting with things like blend modes and SVG animation โ€” while still making sure the site degraded to older browsers gracefully. Some of the largest obstacles we tackled were finding ways to utilize JavaScript to accurately trigger events and animations as the user scrolls.
