Responsive One Page website for planetary scientist and MIT postdoctoral scholar, ‘Brandon Johnson’. There is so much love in this page and despite the awesome elements, my favorite part is definitely the “ON” branding that is just perfectly consistent throughout the site. “Brand-on” claims he is always on so there is even an Off switch that brings up a hilarious error message saying “Action could not be completed, Brandon is always on”. A unique website in a niche industry and well executed, easily our newest “Most Loved” One Pager.
I am a Postdoctoral Scholar at MIT working under Maria Zuber. My research is focused mainly on impact cratering, which is arguably the most pervasive geologic process in the solar system. Other interest include the formation of distal impact ejecta; impact jetting; spallation; the impact origin of chondrules; impacts in extra-solar systems; the reduction of friction during long run-out landslides and earthquakes; the breakup of comets; crater erasure; understanding the lunar gravity field; and other geophysical problems that pique my curiosity.
