Responsive One Pager promoting ‘0.7’ – a non-profit mission to compel every individual, organisation or country who can afford it to give 0.7% of their income to end global poverty. Good effort for a great cause.
Why 0.7%? It's an official United Nations target that dates back to 1970. The premise was simple … every year, western governments give 0.7% of their wealth to developing countries to put an end to extreme poverty and boost economic growth. As you may have noticed, the world has changed a lot since the 70’s. Some developing countries have become richer, some traditionally rich countries have become poorer, and we all live in a world that’s more connected than ever before. That’s why, in 2014, we’ve reinvented 0.7% as a target for everyone. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re from, all it takes is 0.7% to build a fairer, safer more sustainable world for us all.
