Jonathan David Post

Personal One Pager for designer ‘Jonathan David Post’ featuring clear big imagery of himself. Cheers for the insight on the build.

I wanted to design and build a site that was really reflective of my personal aesthetic โ€“ย simple, minimal, easy to navigate, with thoughtfully used pops of color. I started with a strong cover image to give the user a preview of what to expect in the portfolio section and set the tone for the rest of the site. I followed this with a color blocked grid system for the thumbnails in the portfolio section, taking the colors directly from the starting page art. For the about section I decided to use a simple layout, continuing the grid from the portfolio section and including a more human self portrait. Overall I wanted to give the user a clean and tailored editorial experience that was very relatable and on trend.
