Colorful One Pager built on WordPress for new mobile game ‘BubbleJump’. Interesting build notes below on the obstacles faced with the floating-up bubble effect.
We used various techniques focusing on Parallax scrolling, css3 animations, animated icons and making the site responsive. The base coding is HTML5, CSS3 and Wordpress (php/MySQL). Our biggest obstacle was animating the background effects and controlling the z-index of certain elements so that the bubbles soaring upwards on the screen would weave in and out of text elements and other static object placements giving the site a 3d effect.
