What it means

Unlike a general newsletter, the immediate promise concerns future availability. A useful waitlist page explains what is coming, who it is for and what joining does. If access is limited or staged, describe that honestly rather than suggesting a guaranteed place.

Use it in practice

Provide enough detail to make the decision meaningful and tell people what happens next. Separate future access from any optional recurring marketing.

Watch out for

Do not invent scarcity or a queue position. A signup count needs context and should reflect real data if shown.
