Connect in three steps

  1. Add the project configuration

    Create .cursor/mcp.json in your project. If it already exists, merge the onepagelove entry into its mcpServers object instead of replacing the file.

  2. Check that the server is enabled

    Open Cursor’s MCP settings and check One Page Love. Restart Cursor if the new configuration is not picked up. For all projects, use ~/.cursor/mcp.json instead.

  3. Ask Agent to use the references

    Open Agent, describe your page and ask it to research One Page Love before changing the design. Review any tool approval prompts.

Check it works

Ask Agent for three references using One Page Love. Check that an MCP tool call appears and that the response includes links to the examples.

Start with your next project

Keep refining in the same conversation. Ask Agent to compare the implementation with the references and improve the type scale, spacing and placement of the main action.

A few things to know

Not seeing One Page Love?

Check that mcp.json is valid JSON and that the server is enabled. If Agent does not search, ask for One Page Love explicitly. Workspace policies may limit available MCP servers.

What does the connection do?

It makes One Page Love’s website and section searches available to your AI tool. Your agent can inspect references and apply the ideas using its own design and coding capabilities. The MCP itself does not build or host your website.

Will the results look like the demo?

Image presentation depends on your client. Some show screenshots inline, some show links, and others let the model inspect an image without displaying it. The demo illustrates the workflow, not an exact client interface.

What data is shared?

Your AI tool sends search arguments to One Page Love. Queries, filters, result counts, request metadata and IP addresses are logged to operate the service. Avoid putting sensitive project information in search requests. Review your client’s tool permissions before connecting.
