Comic Sans
Vincent Connare developed Comic Sans from comic-book lettering for Microsoft’s early multimedia software. Its informal, handwriting-like shapes were hinted for small screen text. The familiar MS edition is proportional rather than fixed-width, and its distribution with software should not be confused with a general-purpose webfont license.
